Kent Kent 41 1 1 silver badge 2 2 bronze badges. Are you asking if you have to buy LK and Cata. Or are you asking if you can play a Worgen? No, I only have BC but I can play a worgen.
You should have to have upgraded to Cata to be able to play a Worgen unless they changed something recently? Easiest way to check what version s you have is to just go to battle. If you only have BC on that account and you can make a Worgen, I'm not sure how that is happening. If this is the case, I'm guessing Blizzard will find out about it for Panda's and probably fix it. Add a comment. Active Oldest Votes. Once Mists of Pandaria is released, you will also be able to make Pandaren.
Improve this answer. Blem Blem In your source it also mentions that pandaren will be available regardless of which expansion you own by time MoP comes out.
Someone suggested an edit during the 5 minute edit grace period: I didn't catch that, so when I approved and improved it as normal, it caused havoc when you edited during the grace period. Do you prefer to stay in tour worgen form or your human form? How come you rolled worgen instead of a human? Because most of my friends play Alliance and I insisted on being a druid. At time of character creation, that meant Night Elf or Worgen, and elves are only marginally less boring than humans when it comes to fantasy.
I used to use the human form to pretend, but that got old fast. Edit: additionally, the Worgen movespeed active racial held far more appeal for me than the Shadowmeld active which, at the time, seemed next to worthless. My opinion of that ability has since changed, but… -shrug-. Gilneans' accent and speech is like that of the middle and upper classes of Regency Era England. An example of a movie that can be watched for dialectal inspiration for Gilneas is Pride and Prejudice.
Although Worgen characters can eat the same food as everybody else for gameplay reasons, they should be considered to be carnivores. Their claws and fangs, strong hunting instincts, and lore all support this. A Worgen would love nothing more than to chase down his prey, tear it to shreds, and devour it raw and bloody. There are many classes to RP with a Worgen, both prestige and otherwise. Whether your a rebel or noble may depend on your class. You might have formerly been an arcanist or pyromancer or just a Mage or Archmage.
Before the curse you practiced magic, maybe you were a wandering mage or just stay at home or part of Greymane's Royal Magicians. Mages are highly capable, able to detect spells and warp things with ease, able to utilize any field of magic depending on how you choose to RP the mage.
This could be a rebel or a noble. Or a rebellious noble. You could be multiple things as a hunter, a lumberjack. A dog breeder, a Rifleman , or just a Hunter. As a hunter you might be well versed in surviving in the wild and maybe hunted and skinned animals or hunted them for food or fun.
Before the curse you did this and after the curse you might still get the same urge of bloodlust to hunt animals. Your newfound form could aid you in tracking animals or walking among the forest glades. You could've been a petty thief who mugged people or a trained assassin, who possibly got imprisoned then granted a pardon to save the people, none the less. You might have an egotistical More egotistical than a normal Gilnean goal that involves only your own profit.
You could not care for anyone else but your riches and twitch your ears to mention of treasure, after the curse. You're more dangerous with your newfound strength and agility. This class can also draw from the rebels under Darius Crowley as their operations again King Greymane would have required stealth and subterfuge.
You were before the curse, a crop healer, or harvest witch. You could've healed crops and helped grow food for the Gilneans having difficulty finding food beyond what they produce, and after the curse and discovering more about nature magic with the interaction between the night elf druids, decided to become a druid.
Druids can talk to trees and possibly manipulate trees or animals and the weather to assist them, you hold a deep respect for all life. You might have possibly been a Warlock , or Demonologist. You could have studied demons or enslaved them in the dark, out of the way of Greymane's eye. Or you could have been caught in the dark act and imprisoned and granted a pardon to save the citizens with your forbidden art in the dire times of civil war. Warlocks are very capable of summoning forth hell on their enemies, able to summon demons, cast curses upon their enemies, perform dark demonic rituals, and if strong enough, become a demon.
After the curse whether the form is resistant to fel energies or not. You have a great grasp over fel energies you haven't understood before becoming a permanent demon or Felsworn.
Perhaps the Worgen curse boosts the blood thirst you might gain from using such a dark power. Warlocks are versed in only a few spell types such as Arcane, Fire and Shadow as well as Fel. Capable of seeing through some veils but might not be as good as a mage at it. This would definetly be a rebel, as Greymane would not allow fel magic within his lands.
You could be a guard or a recruit in Greymane's army or Royal Guard, or you could be one of Crowley's men. Fighting off the Worgen, after the curse your skills seem to have been largely extended with the worgen form increasing your agility and strength. Maybe you might be a feral warrior and direct the blood thirst to assault others, or you can use your newfound strength to further hone your skills to levels you weren't able when you were only human.
Warriors are very capable and could be able to be a master of all weapons or a Rifleman or a Grunt. They can possibly have any pre-existing army rank, but avoid making the character too powerful or high up a position like 'the right hand man of Genn Greymane. A priest of the Light you could preach in times of panic and heal those who were sick, during the curse you tried the best you can to cleanse those afflicted and fought until you too were infected. The light still comes to your hand after the curse, and possibly even the shadow, considering the nature of the worgen.
Priests could be shadow wielders maybe a Felsworn or maybe gain their powers from Goldrinn after the curse and discovery of this deity, or you may have decided to stay with the light. People begged for Pandaran DK, and we got it, now it's our turn to get what we want Worgen tail.
Comment by Korijenkins This is great and all, but the biggest issue with Worgen isn't their look, but their animations, their pose, etc. Compare Genn from the BFA cinematic to what we have in game. It's horrible. Worgen walk like clowns and always have, and it's painful. Comment by selkie47 There is some bugginess with fem worgen right now.
Changing the human side is effecting the worgen side. Just keep changing stuff and eventually it will work.
