A special "glint" animation appears on item s that are enchanted. There are four ways to enchant an item in Survival mode: Through an enchanting table in exchange for ex per ience points So you can have up to 6 different enchantments on a bow using an anvil. There are some limitations though, as merging enchantments is more expensive when you try to add many at once, and there is a penalty for enchanting the exact same tool multiple times.

Education Enchanting is a great way to increase your power in RLCraft. Enchanted gear can increase both your survivability and damage output, allowing you to kill stronger mobs and survive bigger hits. It's best not to waste larger Soul Gems on enemies with small souls. If you only have greater soul gems, only cast soul trap on powerful enemies to avoid putting a Skeever with a petty soul into a grand soul gem! This is especially important if you're running around with a weapon enchanted with soul trap.

Use soul trap weapons as an alternate to avoid wasting them, or better, simply use the soul trap spell. Soul Gems allow you to recharge weapons that have run out of magical energy. The amount of charge replenished is determined, again, by the size of the soul used. Recharging items with soul gems gives you XP proportionate to how much charge was restored. To fill a soul gem, have one in your inventory while either killing an enemy with a weapon that contains the soul trap enchantment, or using the soul trap spell itself.

There is also an Arcane Enchhanter there, along with an Alchemy Table. Once you have a soul gem, along with a non-magical piece of gear, and have learned an enchant from Disenchanting an item, head to an Arcane Enchanter to perform your Enchants. There you can select the gear, which soul strength you'll use, and the enchant s you will place on the item.

You can place two enchantments on one item with the Extra Effect Perk from level Enchanting. You can boost your Enchants using potions of Fortify Enchanting. These can be bought in shops or crafted with Alchemy yourself. You cannot enchant gear with Fortify Enchanting, but you can push the strength of your potions by using Fortify Alchemy on gear.

The process goes like this:. Repeat this process, on a second set of gear that will have an even stronger Fortify Alchemy boost. Wearing a Falmer Helmet with a Circlet is a bug exploit, but will allow you to wear two helmets to get double the Fortify Alchemy boost.

By the way, if you have the Extra Effect perk, you can make your Alchemy Gear also boost Smithing, so that you have a great set of crafting gear! Here are all learnable Enchantments of Skyrim, listed by armor type. Below, you'll find a list of weapon enchantments, along with a few rare enchants. Worth every point!

Soul Squeezer level 20 Enchanting Skill required Soul gems recharge items even more. Totally optional, just like the next. Soul Siphon level 40 Enchanting Skill required Killing creatures but not people will recharge a weapon by a small degree, which can return some of your charge costs, making magical weapons last longer. Not necessary to be a great Enchanter.

Very important when trying to make the most powerful enchants, as it will boost your Fortify Alchemy enchants on your crafting gear. Fire deals the most direct damage. I consider this one important, you may not need the other two damaging types as badly. Items available to be disenchanted will appear white, while items with enchantments that you already know will appear greyed out.

Note that many items, such as staves, artifacts and even most unique items , cannot be disenchanted and their enchantments cannot be learned; they will not even appear on the disenchanting list.

A list of all available enchanting effects as well as which item types can be enchanted with which effects can be found here. Keep in mind that when you disenchant an item, it will be destroyed and you will only learn the type of enchantment that it contained; the magnitude is irrelevant for purposes of disenchanting.

To enchant an item, begin by opening up the enchanting interface at the arcane enchanter. Then choose the Item menu option and select the item that you wish to enchant. Note that the type of item you select, be it a piece of armor or a weapon, will determine what effects can be placed upon it. Next, select the enchantment or enchantments if you have the Extra Effect perk that you wish to place on the item.

If the item you selected is a weapon, then when you choose an enchantment you will also be able to tune a slider before confirming the enchantment. Moving the slider to the left will increase the number of charges that your item has, but decrease the magnitude of the effect applied.

Once you have chosen your enchantment s , you will then select a soul gem for use. When you pick a soul gem to use, the magnitude of the enchantment s you placed on the item will be scaled by the magnitude of the soul gem's soul. If the soul gem you wish to use is greyed out, then it is not strong enough to enchant the item with your selected enchantment with at least one charge at your selected magnitude; reduce the magnitude, or if you deselect the enchantment, then you can reselect the same enchantment and the magnitude slider will start at the minimum magnitude.

As a practical matter, you'll likely want to pick the item, the soul gem, and the enchantment in that order, so that you see the magnitude range already adjusted for gem power.

A Item that has more than one enchantment, for example the nightingale armor has frost resistance and stamina is increased. Those enchantments are on the same item. That's what I mean. Add a comment. Most unique armors and weapons have unique enchantments as well. With the extra effect twin souls perk, however, you could make a duplicate of the enchantment using two generic ones, with nightingale armor being Fortify Stamina and Resist Frost.
